Company history

Donna Lisa was founded in 1997 by CIRO DE SINNO. Grounded in his experience in the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, he planned to create a company which set quality as its credo, that could project itself towards the foreign market, bringing together olive oil and other typical products from the Italian culinary tradition.

It has to be said: Ciro de Sinno is a man who knows what he is doing.  The de Sinno family had a oil mill for two generations.  In March 1989, Ciro was the moving force behind the founding of the biggest and most up-to-date oil mill in the city of San Severo, which he directed until June 1997, first as President, and then as Managing Director.  This allowed him to combine the knowledge inherited from two generations of experience and tradition with the best technology available in the field of olive oil extraction.  Rather than neglecting tradition in favour of industry, Ciro made modern technology serve what years of experience had demonstrated to work best.
